API Payload

Added sku_v2 promotion scope and campaign tracking​

We have updated the order payload and webhook events to support granular SKU-level promotion attribution and Gojek campaign tracking.

Payload Changes​

  • New sku_v2 Scope (applied_promotions): Introduced the sku_v2 scope to provide detailed tracking per SKU promotion instance, including promo_source, redeemed_amount, and merchant_budget_share_percentage.
  • Promo Source Attribution (promo_source): Indicates the source of the promotion:
    • SKU_PROMO: Merchant-created promotions. Detailed information can be retrieved via the Get Promotion Detail API.
    • CAMPAIGN: Gojek-run campaigns (e.g., Bonus Spesial). Funded by Gojek, Merchants, or both. Campaign IDs are reference-only.
  • Order Items Mapping: Added sku_promo_id and sku_promo_source to order_items to map each line item directly to its corresponding sku_v2 entry.
  • price and redeemed_amount semantics:
    • When SKU_PROMO, price is the promo price (the price after the SKU promo is applied). redeemed_amount is the difference between the original price and the promo price.
    • When CAMPAIGN, price is the original item price. redeemed_amount is the discount applied.

The sku scope in applied_promotions will be phased out. Please migrate to sku_v2 to access richer metadata, budget distribution, and promo source details.

API Event

Added gofood.order.prep_order_now event​

We have added a new GoFood order event, gofood.order.prep_order_now, triggered when the order is ready to be prepared by the merchant. The event uses the standard order notification payload with order status set to PREP_ORDER_NOW.

Event Changes​

  • New event gofood.order.prep_order_now: Subscribe to it to get notified when the merchant should start preparing an order. The timing can vary depending on the situation: it can be sent at the same time as merchant accepted or gofood.order.driver_otw_pickup, when the driver gets near the outlet, or when the driver has arrived.
